Ziggy Pop: В 2011 году группа Massive Attack будет "спонтанно" выпускать новую музыку "В следующем году мы выпустим сразу несколько мини-альбомов. Традиционная схема, при которой за выходом долгоиграющего альбома следует тур в его поддержку, нам надоела. Гораздо увлекательней выпускать музыку как бы случайно, спонтанно. В этом году мы следовали традициям, поэтому в следующем попробуем что-нибудь новое", - заявил один из участников проекта Роберт дель Найя. Напомним, что "Heligoland", свой пятый и последний на сегодняшний день альбом, Massive Attack выпустили в феврале 2010 года. За релизом последовал тур, продолжающийся до сих пор. В конце сентября группа дала два концерта в России. Следующим релизом Massive Attack станет мини-альбом "Atlas Air", выход которого запланирован на ноябрь. Уже известно, что в него войдет как минимум один новый трек - песня "Redlight", записанная с вокалистом группы Elbow Гаем Гарви.

Pressed on heavyweight 180g 12” vinyl housed in a stunning, hand numbered, gold glitter screen-printed sleeve designed by Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja (3D), this edition has been crafted by The Vinyl Factory, and is sure to become a highly coveted collectors item. As you’d expect from these two acts these are no ordinary remixes and Burial has completely rebuilt both tracks in his own unique style providing a masterclass in production. You can hear 'Four Walls' below. At around 12 minutes each, both 'Four Walls' and 'Paradise Circus' have been given the time and space to evolve and develop going way beyond the scope of normal remixes, with the end result two highly original, in every sense of the word, pieces of music.

Ziggy Pop: 20 years after the release of their seminal trip-hop album Blue Lines, Massive Attack are still celebrated as one of the genre’s champions. Even as the popularity of the genre seemed to dwindle as the 90s came to a close, Massive Attack are still as popular as ever, especially in their home country of the UK, where their 2010 album Heligoland was certified gold. Burial needs no explanation really. His 2007 album Untrue vaulted him into the sphere of dubstep royalty. Now a limited edition collaboration 12″ vinyl between the two artists is to be released via Inhale Gold and The Vinyl Factory on October 17th. This collaboration comes as no surprise, however. Rumors of the collaboration have been floating around the internet for years and Hyperdub label head Kode9 dropped the Burial remix of Massive Attack’s “Paradise Circus” in a DJ set in Barcelona this past June. Titled “Four Walls” / “Paradise Circus”, the A-side is an unheard tune, while the B-side is a remix of one of Heligoland‘s more popular cuts
