If you want to see him, you’ve got to act quick. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday through ticketweb.com and cost $30. Capacity at the venue is 75 people. Corgan requested to play in either a coffee shop or a bookstore that would hold 75-100 people, says concert promoter Aaron Gomes of Visalia’s Sound N Vision Foundation. Andy: Корган о предстоящих концертах: Tickets went on sale today for the 6 show mini-tour, so I thought I'd drop a line about what the plans-ideas are musically. We start rehearsing tonight, and I'm guessing we'll probably play 2 sets a night, which will feature a mixture of band material and also I'll be playing some solo type stuff as well. I don't figure on playing any old songs, with the exception of maybe 'song for a son' or 'owata', but since there are so many other new ones I'm not sure. The musical mix will probably be a nice combo of interesting covers and new songs written over the past 7 months. I am really curious to see how certain songs that seem good to pretty good might come across live, as I would want to see if there's more in them than maybe I am giving them credit for. Hope to see you there, it should be good fun. Andy: Корган сообщил, что в в туре примут участие Дэйв Наварро и Марк Вейтц. Таким образом, состав такой: Корган и Наварро - гитары, Тулин - бас, Браун и Бирн - ударные, Вейтц - клавиши. Корган планирует сыграть около 12-ти песен с группой и 5-6 соло. Корган:Ahh, there's nothing like that first rehearsal feeling! Where you remember that you don't remember much and you've got to re-remember it all over again! So we worked on about 4 songs last night, after listening to about 20 new ones, sitting around the fire to decide which would be the best ones to play. The goal for today is just to get those four down and add to the pile as we go along. I'm hopeful the band can work up 12, and I can play another 5 or 6 solo. Some exciting news to add as well, as Dave Navarro and Mark Weitz have joined the tour. Dave sadly can't play San Diego with us, so hopefully we can find an Ace up our sleeve somewhere to fill in. It's gonna be crowded onstage, that's for sure with Mike and Kerry on drums, Mark on bass, Dave and I on guitar, and Mark #2 on keys.
