Ziggy Pop: BILLY CORGAN SAYS TO EXPECT A NEW SMASHING PUMPKINS ALBUM EARLY NEXT YEAR In a recent interview with professional wrestling radio podcast – IPTW (Interesting People Talking Wrestling) Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan gave information regarding the next Smashing Pumpkins album by saying “We’re just starting to work on a [new] album now so probably I’d say sometime early next year would be reasonable. He also updated everyone on the status of his upcoming book by saying that “The book is probably not released until at least next year.”
